The inspiration behind these organic kids’ leggings came from a discussion within our design team, where we acknowledged the frustration parents feel when they find a gorgeous garment, only for their child to quickly outgrow it. The rolled cuffs are a small nod to how challenging it can be to keep your child looking nice while keeping pace with their growth.

Check out our kids ribbed organic shorts in dusty pink, slate blue and oat. The simple design, with rolled up hems sewn into place, means that you can easily match these shorts with a variety of different tops. The shorts are made from 270gsm organic ribbed jersey cotton.

The design brief was to create a versatile pair of shorts that could be worn on the playground or with a parent when popping into town. From a technical perspective, we used a 40mm elastic waistband and sewed this in place for a nice fitted finish. The jersey rib fabric was chosen because it has enough give to ensure they’re comfortable when playing sports.

When creating our collections, we will make a concerted effort to ensure they are not gender specific. The colours we use are intended to be neutral, and you can see Theo looking dapper in his dusty pink shorts.
